Safaricom has announced that one of their top officers, Sateesh Kamath has been appointed to join Vodafone Business.
Sateesh is the current Safaricom Chief Finance Officer (CFO) and will hold the same seat at Vodafone Business starting from 1st July 2020.
He will then work under Vinod Kumar, Chief Executive Officer Vodafone Business and will be part of the Vodafone Group Finance Leadership team.
Sateesh joined Safaricom in 1st August 2016 as the Chief Finance Officer straight from Vodacom Tanzania where he held the same position.
He is the man who increased Safaricom shareholders value by 50 per cent to ksh 1.2 trillion and played a key role in completion of M-Pesa Joint Venture from Vodafone.
Safaricom will be looking and announcing Sateesh Kamath successor soon as much as the company will miss him.
