The Central Bank has announced that the next Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) meeting will be held on 30th June 2020.
MPC is the policy making wing of the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK).
During the last MPC meeting, held on ,the first meeting held during the Coronavirus pandemic came up with some policies that were to help during the hard economic times.
Those measures and policies kept are now going to be evaluated on June 30th when the MPC will meet for the second time amid COVID-19 pandemic.
During the last meeting, MPC decided to retain the Central Bank Rate (CBR) at 7.00 per cent.
