Safaricom has announced that M-Pesa services will not be available today at night time.
The telecommunications company will be undertaking a maintenance program on M-Pesa and for that reason, the service will be unavailable.
In order to serve customers better, the system is supposed to be sometimes upgraded and loaded with new and improved features.
In this regard, our M-PESA services shall be undergoing planned maintenance tonight Thursday 2nd July 2020, starting from 2359 hrs to 0500 hrs. During the maintenance, all M-PESA services including airtime purchase shall be temporarily unavailable.The choice of the maintenance time was ideal to cause the least inconveniences as most businesses and mpesa users are not active during this time.
