Safaricom set to Retire Platinum Plans

Sometimes back Safaricom launched Platinum plans which saw customers join post paid services with easy.

Safaricom on Monday announced retiring the Platinum plans as from 30th August 2020 and replace this with an All In One package. 

Here is the message I received from the telco;

Dear customer, Platinum Plans will NOT be Available from Aug 30th 2020.For Value & better experience simply dial *544# select normal bundles then All in One

Platinum plans were all in one .Once you buy a Platinum plan,you get data bundles, voice call minutes and a number of free SMS, access to platinum call centre, discount at selected retail stores, shell and restaurants, free WhatsApp  and travel and event offers.

The plans cost a minimum of ksh 1000 and a maximum of ksh 5,000 while Platinum Plus packages cost between ksh 2,000 and ksh 10,000
