In case you get denied a loan by either Ceres or Getcash, you still have 8 alternatives to try your luck from in searching for digital loans.
The number will increase in the coming days as CBK will be rolling out more lists of the licensed digital credit providers in Kenya. Until then, there are eight available digital lenders currently operating legally.
DCPs are microfinance institutions allowed to offer loans in a digital way, including providing mobile loans via loan apps and or USSD codes and or Simcard Toolkits (STKs).
There are many popular loan apps still pending license approval from the CBK. Some of these are Tala, Branch, Zenka, CreditMoja among others. For the purpose of today's list all popular loan apps are going to be missing out.
