Safaricom Announces Service Interruption to Customers

Safaricom have announced that there will be service unavailability from Saturday to Sunday this week.

This will be as a result of some service upgrade the telco will be carrying out to ensure efficient service delivery.

Safaricom  has therefore announced  that the services that will not be available include; Safaricom cloud, Lipa na Mpesa, KCBMPesa, Mshwari, Safaricom App, Mpesa Daraja API,Mobile Banking, International Money  Transfers, VAS services, Safaricom support on Facebook and Twitter.

The telco have for this reason asked customers in advance for an apology for any inconveniences caused.

The upgrade will actually begin on Saturday at 2300hrs on September 4th 2020 and end on Sunday at 0600hrs on September 5th 2020

Luckily, there will be some services available even during the upgrade. Sending, Depositing and withdrawing money via Mpesa will be available. Calls ,buying data and sending SMS will still be available too.
