Wema Bank has introduced collateral free loan facilities to help businesses grow amid COVID-19 pandemic.
The bank, being on of the most innovative in Nigeria, will provide up to Niara 10 million to both existing and new customers including those running personal accounts.
The target Small and Medium Enterprises (SME) to benefit from the collateral free loans include; schools, hospitals, clinics and diagnostic centres, general traders and pharmacies.
The lender is giving up to N 5 million to businesses in general commerce for a period of up to 12 months ( 1 year) while schools can get up to N 10 million for a the same repayment duration.
Hospitals, diagnostic centres, pharmacies and clinics can get up to N 10 million to be repaid after a maximum period of 12 months (1 year).
