Central Bank has announced that the Afro-Asia Fintech Festival which was set to happen in July this have been postponed to July next year.
The move was as a result of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic, which will most probably going to put the participants lifes in danger.
Afro-Asia Fintech festival Inaugural happened July last year and it was a success. The Fintech Hackcelerator (Hackathon) was launched. Two winners were crowned and they were Kwara of Kenya and Bureau Vente of Uganda.
The festival is organised in partnership with Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and it attracts participants from all over the world.
