Warui Appointed Head, Equity Bank Kenya

Gerald Warui was appointed by the board as as the 4th Managing Director of Equity Bank Kenya following the resignation of the current MD Polycarp Igathe.

Warui is currently waiting for CBK approval before taking office end of August when Igathe will officially leave office.

Igathe is set to rejoin Vivo ,this time as the Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing for the African continent.

Gerald Warui is not new to Equity Bank. He has served the lender for long approximately 21years now.
