Airtel Loans : How to apply in Kenya

Airtel loans refers to loans given by the Airtel Telecommunications company to the Airtel subscribers (customers). 

In this article I will be telling you how to apply for Airtel loans in Kenya,who qualifies and types of Airtel money loans.

Airtel loans requirements 

In Kenya, to qualify for an Airtel loan, one must be an Airtel subscriber for over 3 months,have an active Airtel money account and active in using other Airtel services including airtime  and data. 

Airtel loans

There are two groups of Airtel loans currently which include; Kopa Cash, Express (Xpress) loan and M-Fanisi. 

Some people have been asking about Airtel fuliza but actually that not available.

Kopa Cash 

This is a loan facility for anyone with an Airtel money account. It doesn't need anyone to save before applying for loans.

To apply for Kopa Cash,dial *334# then select Loans and finally select Kopa Cash.

You can also check the loans section if you're using Airtel app.

M-Fanisi

To get M-Fanisi Airtel loans, you'll first need to open an M-Fanisi account by dialling *334#

To apply for M-Fanisi loans dial *334# , select Loans and then M-Fanisi. 

Another way to apply is via M-Fanisi loan app which you can download from Google play store and create your account.

Approved loan amount will be deposited in the customer's M-Fanisi account. A customer can then decide to transfer the money to his or her Airtel money account and withdraw from an Airtel money agent.

You can also check from within Airtel app for M-Fanisi loans if you're using the app. 

In general, how can I borrow money from Airtel? You simply dial *334# 

Xpress loan

To apply for Xpress loans you can dial *222# . If you're new, you still dial *222# to register and activate express loan service.

Airtel loans from loan apps
