How to access faraja loan ,safaricom's new interest free loan? This is what many Kenyans have been asking.
But first,what is Faraja loan? It is a loan facility offered to buyers to make purchases from merchants via M-PESA and pay later.
Some of the merchants already allowing purchases via M-Pesa faraja loan include; Naivas Supermarket, Good life Pharmacies, City Walk among others.
A customer can make purchases of goods worth up to KSh100,000 and pay the same amount after 30 days without interest. The minimum loan limit is KSh 20.
Faraja loan is being provided by Safaricom in partnership with Central Bank's approved digital credit provider EDOMx.
