The aim of the fund is to provide accessible and affordable credit to support women-owned and women-led enterprises, as well as to provide business development services to enhance the capacity of women entrepreneurs.

The Women Enterprise Fund provides loans to women entrepreneurs at low-interest rates, with repayment periods of up to 48 months. The fund also provides training, mentorship, and networking opportunities to help women entrepreneurs develop the skills and knowledge they need to grow their businesses and become successful.

The WEF has a particular focus on supporting women from low-income backgrounds, marginalized groups, and those living in rural areas. The fund has been successful in empowering women economically and enabling them to contribute to the development of their communities and the country as a whole.
