Faraja USSD code is *799# and as said earlier, an MPesa customer who wish to use faraja credit service will have to dial the said USSD code in order to opt in.
Before one can access the service during making purchases from merchants,he or she will be required to dial *799#.
Each registered customer is given a faraja credit loan limit. This is the maximum amount a customer can use to buy goods on credit.
The maximum faraja credit limit is KES 100,000. This is the highest value of goods a very qualified customer can get. Least qualified customers on the other hand get a loan of KES 20.
Unqualified customers have a faraja credit limit of zero. This simple means they can't participate in the said facility.
Lipa Na M-PESA is the platform used to purchase goods and or services using faraja credit loans.
