Joyful women Organisation (JoyWo) and Climate Works Foundation have partnered to conduct research on suitable energy sources that will reduce pollution and health problems associated.
The partnership is in line with the national goal of achieving clean energy that will avoid emission of black carbon which mostly affect women and children.
The aim of the partnership is to conduct research on national level strategies that reduce Short Lived Climate Pollutants (SLCPs) emissions as people do important life activities like cooking thus help the government to mitigate climate change as stated in the National Determined Contributions (NDC) and sustainable development.
JoyWo have been at the forefront in helping women get access to clean cooking energy by providing gas cookers in addition to providing loans for business development and growth.
