For any reason a customer can feel like it's time to opt out of KCB M-Pesa or M-Shwari services.While M-Shwari is by NCBA Bank and KCB M-Pesa by KCB Bank they are both offered in partnership with Safaricom Mpesa as mobile loans.
According to Safaricom, it is not possible to opt out or deactivate both Mshwari and KCB M-PESA. This is because, the two services are incorporated in any Safaricom line (SIM card).
For this reason, if you don't feel comfortable with KCB M-PESA or Mshwari, just ignore it but it will still be visible on your SIM card menu.

They are all liars. I visited KCB Kipande branch for deactivation of KCB-Mshwari and I was told there is no way you can deactivate. I went to Saf-Com on the same lane and they sent me back to KCB. It's like opening an account ni kupanda mchongoma but deactivating or disabling ndio kushuka Mchongoma🤔

DeleteBest answer. Did the same and took 4 months to pay. They sent me warning including sending credit collectors, listed me at CRB then suddenly I paid. My account has been set to for over 2 years now and have never made any attempt to borrow.
