Umba, a micro mobile loan lender shared an opinion on Facebook that Traditional Banking can't work anymore.
The digital lending is the way to go and maybe its true especially now that there's Coronavirus and everyone is asked to use alternative ways of banking and transacting.
Here is the message;
Traditional banking doesn't work. We're committed to help the people the banks ignore - move over for the next generation of financial services.
Umba is one of the loan apps in Kenya and Uganda giving instant credit services to smartphone users in the two nations.
The lender can give up to ksh 70,000 in Kenya to the most qualified borrowers through Mpesa.
