The most popular digital lender, Tala has now started offering loans again though under strict conditions.
The lender according to some of the existing customers asks for more questions before proceeding to deliver the loans.
The loan amount is now a bit lower compared to previous with a promise to increase with good on time repayment of active loans.
New loan will have a pre-approval phase, something which never existed before.
Tala have been promising to be coming back to business even if COVID-19 pandemic seemed to be strong enough to keep the business off.
The lender recently integrated Mpesa Express, an easy way to allow customers make loan repayments from within the Tala app.
