Safaricom, the biggest telco in the East African region has posted an article and a photo to warn customers against fraudsters.
The article warned of how fraudsters can claim to be from Safaricom or Mpesa then ask for personal details and customers should not fall prey.
With the hashtag #tuwaanike ,the telco even went ahead to show customers how to report any suspicious messages by sending a SMS to 333.

Always remember, Safaricom will only contact customers through SAFARICOM or MPESA
