Safaricom has announced a very important message about an upgrade process to be undertaken during the weekend.
The telco will be doing a Safaricom System Upgrade from 1700hrs on Saturday 22nd August to 1700hrs Sunday on 23rd August 2020.
During the upgrade time, activation of new SIM cards, SIM Swap,Get PUK and Tariff Migration will not be available.
The good news however, is that most of the most import services will be available including, calls, data, Mpesa and SMS.
The timings of the upgrade are expected to cause the least inconveniences but Safaricom have apologised in advance for any inconveniences caused by the planned system upgrade.
