Safaricom employees donated over ksh 2 million to help buy food for the needy families across Kenya.
The campaign dubbed #6000strong saw the telco staffs contribute money amounting to over ksh 2 million.
As promised, Safaricom added another over ksh 2 million on top to support the employees initiative and commendable move to help the needy especially during this COVID-19 pandemic.
Over 2500 families benefited from the initiative from across all 47 counties in the country.
The target families and individuals included those living under extreme poverty, badly affected by the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic and the disabled.
