After a successful acquisition by Cooperative Bank of Kenya, Jamii Bora Bank have now been renamed Kingdom Bank.
The new Bank will now work under a new board of management with new Managing Director and Board Chairman appointed.
Margaret Karangatha will serve as the Kingdom Bank Chairman while Anthony Mburu was unveiled as the Managing Director, Kingdom Bank.
Formerly Jamii Bora was headed by Tim Kabiru before Co-opbank injected ksh 1 billion in a 90 per cent asset acquisition.
Kingdom Bank will now be a subsidiary of Cooperative Bank of Kenya and is hinted to deal with SMEs,youths and women.
