Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) Uganda issued a notice to clear the air on concerns that the lender is not viable as claimed by some news agencies.
In the notice, DTB Uganda explained that Ham Enterprises and related entities took a loan from the lender and then failed to repay and that is when the bank started a recovery process.
Ham Enterprises went to the court to stop the recovery claiming that no money was disbursed by the bank after applying for the loan.
DTB filed a defense in turn and is going to present the evidence when time comes to the court.
All shareholders are advised to continue trusting DTB as one of the best companies to invest in.
The outcome of the case will be shared when the case will be over.
