How To Correct A Wrong NHIF Contributions Payment

NHIF

While paying for your NHIF contributions, it can happen that you mistakenly use wrong details instead of the correct ones.

For example while paying NHIF  through Mpesa, you might input your membership number instead of your ID number as the account number.

If this happens, you don't have to worry .NHIF has an easy way to help you out;
Here is a statement from NHIF;
Did you make M-PESA payments using your MEMBERSHIP NUMBER instead of your ID NUMBER? Visit our Accounts Department at any branch with a copy of your ID, NHIF CARD, your M-PESA STATEMENT capturing the transaction you made and we will sort you out.
In regard to the above, it is therefore possible to get the funds back to your NHIF account if you'll approach any nearest NHIF Branch.
Remember to carry a copy of your National ID card, NHIF card and your Mpesa statement.

NHIF requires that each member to make monthly contributions before 9th of each month to continue enjoying medical cover benefits.
