Insurance company, AAR has announced helping needy girls within Nairobi with sanitary pads this COVID-19 pandemic.
Here is the message;
As we watch the coronavirus pandemic play out on a global scale, it’s easy to feel helpless. But no matter who you are or what your situation, you can make a difference.
At AAR Healthcare, we chose to support needy girls by providing sanitary towels through our CSR arm. Our paper recycling project has enabled us to reach 1500 girls in Nairobi. Last week we partnered with the Syokimau Resident Association and donated sanitary towels to 20 girls from the Kicheko slum. By giving back to the community during COVID-19, we hope to lower anxiety and stress, boost mood, and give a sense of purpose during this difficult time to the needy.
