It is now possible to send over ksh 1 million online through the SC mobile app or through through SC Online Banking (web).
As a requirement imposed by the Central Bank of Kenya (CBK) ,any amount sent or received even in foreign currencies but equivalent to ksh 1 million should be accompanied with some supporting documents.
Standard Chartered has now made it possible to upload such documents from within the app and web. This way, you can now send or receive ksh 1 million or above online.
Some of the common supporting documents required are Invoices and Purchase Orders (POs).
Standard Chartered has been for long at the forefront in releasing the newest technology in the banking market in Kenya.
