Safaricom has announced today that the Lipa na Mpesa for business owners is now live and available for user.
Currently as per Safaricom records, over 170,000 merchants will benefit from the newly developed service.
With M-Pesa For Business app, businesses owners with Till numbers can now access realtime statements as well as pay wages or withdraw cash from mpesa agents.
“At Safaricom, we are taking a focus on the needs of small and medium businesses to provide them with suitable technology solutions to help them grow. The M-PESA for Business smartphone App is one such solution. It empowers more than 170,000 businesses across the country to send money and make payments and provides them with simple and detailed reports from the convenience of the mobile phone,” said Peter Ndegwa, CEO, Safaricom.
The Mpesa For Business app is readily available for download on Google play store for android users on Appstore for iOS users. The USSD code *234# is also still available for use.
New business owners can now apply for Lipa Na Mpesa till numbers from Safaricom Mpesa For Business Website.
