Safaricom Foundation has today donated Personal Protective Equipments ((PPEs) worth over ksh 7 million to three counties.
Kajiado county,Baringo county and Meru county are the beneficiaries of this donation.
The donation included face masks, hand sanitizers, surgical gowns, hazardous materials suits and face shields.
Over 1000 healthcare workers from those counties are set to benefit from the donation.
Safaricom have been at the forefront in helping the needy population especially during this COVID-19 pandemic.

“Our health workers are at the front line of the COVID-19 outbreak response and as such are exposed to hazards that put them at risk of infection. That is why we continue to support the counties with PPEs which are crucial in protecting the health workers as they go about their important roles”, said Joseph Ogutu, Chairman, Safaricom Foundation.
