Safaricom Closes 4 Shops Temporarily

The biggest telco in Kenya has announced closing temporarily 4 of its major outlets in Nairobi and Mombasa for cleaning and fumigation.

The four affected Safaricom outlet shops are located in Nyali and Rex Hiuse in Mombasa as well as Thika and Lavington Mall shops.

Effective today the shops will remain closed for cleaning, fumigation and sanitation and will reopen on Thursday 11th June 2020.

Safaricom have taken the move to,protect its customers and employees against the deadly Coronavirus.

We will be undertaking such measures regularly to our shops and customers facing facilities, to safeguard the health and wellbeing of our staff and customers as this remains our top most priority even as we continue to help the country in managing 5he COVID-19 crisis,  said Peter Ndegwa, CEO, Safaricom.
