Equity Bank has announced flagging off the first locally made Personal Protective Equipments (PPEs) consignment to various healthcare facilities handling COVID-19 cases.
Some of the PPEs manufacturered locally include; surgical gowns, face masks, medical scrubs, gloves and many more.
This programme was made by Equity Bank Group in partnership with Kenya Association of Manufacturers (KAM) ,Kenya COVID-19 Fund ,Ministry of Health and cost a total of ksh 273 million.
