Safaricom to offer online Kenyan Newspapers at Ksh 20

Safaricom announced today that it will enable Kenyans read online newspapers from the major media house at a cost of ksh 20 per issue.

In partnership with the media houses, Safaricom will provide the newspapers online and will be accessible to smartphone users.

Currently, the newspapers available under this programme include; The standard,  Saturday Standard, Sunday Standard, The Nairobian, Daily Nation Saturday Nation, Sunday Nation and Business Daily

To access the newspapers, you can dial *550# from your smartphone or visit www.safaricom.com and select Newspapers and see the available issues. You can then buy and read the paper you like.

The ksh 20 will be deducted direct from your airtime. Your data bundles will not be consumed while reading the newspaper and it will be available for 7 days.
