National Hospital Insurance Fund (NHIF) is a government corporation that is mandatory for any employed citizen to submit monthly contributions by self or through the employer.
Self employed individuals can also voluntarily make contributions to NHIF to be members and enjoy the benefits too.
This way NHIF will come in whenever a member needs medical funding incase of sickness to self,spouse or children.
NHIF demands that contributions be submitted before 9th each month, failure to which you'll be denied the privileges of being a member.
You can pay NHIF contributions through M-Pesa or bank accounts.
