How To Pay NHIF with Bonga Points

Safaricom has announced allowing NHIF members to pay their monthly remittances using bonga points.

If you have enough bonga points, you can save your money for the next payment or for other uses. Safaricom will convert your points to a certain amount in Kenya shillings before you pay.

Here's how you can pay NHIF contributions using bonga points;

• Start by dialling *126#
• Select Lipa na bonga points 
• Select Paybill 
• Enter NHIF business number 200222
• Enter your ID as your account number 
• Enter amount you wish to pay
• Submit 

Safaricom will convert your bonga points to fit the amount you wanted to pay NHIF. You will then receive notifications from both Safaricom and NHIF about the payment.
