Diamond Trust Bank (DTB) has today donated ksh5.2 million worth of foodstuffs to feed the vulnerable communities in the slums across Kenya.
The lender led by DTB CEO Nasim Devji had previously set aside ksh 50 million to help the government, the ministry of health, the emergency response committee and the vulnerable communities fight COVID-19 pandemic.
In this food distribution programme, DTB partnered with Team Pankaj to help in identifying the vulnerable and transporting the foodstuffs.
The programme aim at distributing 13,000 food hampers to over 263 slums in with a target of reaching out to over 10,000 families in amonths time.
