Safaricom has confirmed and announced that one of its employees from Thika Road Mall (TRM) retail outlet has tested positive for Coronavirus.
The employees is currently isolated and undergoing necessary medical treatment and counselling.
Thika Road Mall shop is now closed but temporarily till cleaning and sanitation is done.
“The health, safety and wellbeing of our staff and customers is our top most priority. We are fully supporting our affected colleagues and their families, through the recovery period by providing all necessary medical care and psychosocial support required, ensuring their wellbeing,” said Safaricom Chief Executive Officer Peter Ndegwa.Fellow Safaricom workmates from that shop are currently undergoing screening and psychological treatment especially counselling.
Customers in those areas can seek assistance from other nearby Safaricom outlets or use other communication ways like Interactive Voice Biometric System,Zuri, Mysafaricom app, 100 and 200 help care lines.
