Absa starts distribution of 20,000 face masks to Boda Boda Riders

Absa has donated 20,000 face masks to boda boda riders across the country.

As part of the ongoing contribution to the fight against COVID-19, Absa Bank Kenya PLC has today started the distribution of reusable face masks to boda boda riders and newspaper vendors across the country. The bank is distributing 20, 000 face masks across the country.

While handing over part of the facemasks to representatives of the boda boda riders’ association from the Nairobi region, Absa Bank Kenya PLC Marketing and Corporate Relations Director Caroline Ndung’u said in line with the bank’s force for good philosophy, it will continue to stand in unity with fellow Kenyans in the fight against this pandemic and its socio-economic impact on our country.

Absa last week donated 210,000 face masks to healthcare workers in major hospitals in kenya including; Kenyatta National Hospital, Mbagathi Hospital, Coast General Hospital and Kenyatta University Referral Hospital.
