Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB)

Kenya Commercial Bank  (KCB) will allow individuals listed by the CRB but have since cleared their loans to borrow in order to escape financial distress caused by the Coronavirus outbreak.

The lender in partnership with Safaricom have vowed to support Kenyans by availing more and higher loan limits while cutting down costs associated with taking the mobile loans through KCBMPESA.

KCB will set aside kes30 billion to offer loans for the next ninety (90) days through Mpesa.

Borrowers with existing loans can approach the bank and ask for extension of the repayment up to a period of one year. The bank has promised to take care of the costs arising from the loan repayment extension and restructuring.
