Absa Bank Kenya has promised to pay for its SMEs customers, all supplier invoices within fourteen (14) days. Invoices below kes1 million will be paid within seven (7) days.
This is a move that the lender decided to take in order to sustain businesses during this period of Coronavirus outbreak.
SMEs are expected to meet their financial obligations with this support and maintain cash flow and working capital as well.
In a previous statement, Absa removed many fees and charges involved in bank to mobile wallet transfers, ATM cards usage,PesaLink transfers and Timiza to mobile wallet transfers.
