Bank Set To Support Education Sector

Absa Bank Kenya, a recently launched lender which replaced Barclays Bank of Kenya is set to support education this year in a big way.

The bank will build ablution blocks in 40 primary schools and 66 computer centres across the country.

"As a business, we are coupling this initiative with support for the education sector and have set aside KES20 M to construct ablution blocks in 40 primary schools across the country. A further KES25 M will go towards setting up 66 computer centres across the country."- Jeremy Awori Managing Director Absa Bank Kenya PLC.
