County Government of Nyeri will fully sponsor the top candidate Andy Michael Munyiri Kamau who hails from Maragima in Kieni constituency.
Munyiri who scored 440 marks out of the possible 500 marks was born in Maragima village, Kieni East Sub County, Nyeri County and started his primary school education in Maragima Primary School in Nyeri. He later moved to Nairobi with his parents and has been studying at Damacrest Academy in Uthiru.
Nyeri Governor H.E. Mutahi Kahiga who met the candidate in his office today congratulated him and noted that Munyiri is a Nyeri Champion and is excited to be associated with his success.
The top most candidate attributed his success to God, the support of his family and teachers, sheer dedication and hard work.
While speaking with Governor Kahiga, Munyiri expressed his desire to join Alliance Boys High School and aspires to be an automotive engineer in future.
The governor congratulated Munyiri for his success which serves to show that with hard work, resilience, focus, family's support and above all God's blessings, one can reach the peak.
This, he said was a confirmation that Nyeri is a county of champions.
