CBK recommends employers to pay employees using the new kes1000 notes as from now on. Infact, the public is encouraged to use the new currency in their day to day transactions.
Anyone with the old currency is encouraged to take the same to their banks.
If you get this message, kindly inform your relatives and friends especially from the rural (shags) about the old notes expiration date.
