International Finance Corporation(IFC) is almost finalising a lending deal amounting to $150m that will see Cooperative Bank of Kenya channel loans to SMEs for seven years.
The boost is expected to rejuvenate the lending capability of Coopbank thus reaching underserved micro,small and medium enterprises especially in the manufacturing, trade and agriculture sectors of the Kenya economy.
