MasterCard East Africa VP Chris Bwakira and DTB Group CEO signed the partnership agreement which will see consumers enjoy fast ,secure and convenient payments over a mobile app.
Masterpass Technology was first integrated by Ecobank in Kenya.The technology allows person to merchant (p2m) transactions by scanning a QR code at the merchant payment desk.
DTB customers can now download the DTB mobile app to enjoy the Masterpass QR services.Merchants need to check with DTB to get QR codes.
