Tony Elumelu Foundation's(TEF) Entrepreneurship Programme is now welcoming online applications from existing and aspiring African entrepreneurs with great business ideas that are set to transform the continent's economy positively.


TEF2017 targets a total of 1000 Entreprenuers spread among African countries who will benefit from mentor ships,Training and access to funding of up to $5000 in form of seed capital and another $5000 in form of loans.

In its quest to make Africa poverty free,Tony Elumelu,the African philanthropist and founder TEF is making the conditions for participation in TEF2017 a bit fair by including even the unregistered businesses by African minds.Women ,French speakers,Arabic speakers and Portuguese speakers are also encouraged to apply.

Since its inception in 2015,TEF Entrepreneurship Programme has helped over 2000 businesses across Africa. The programme aims at using over $100 million within 10 years to upgrade over 10000 entrepreneurs that will change the African economy.

Eligibility for Participants


  • The applicant must be a citizen of an African country.
  • Applicant must be 18 years or above
  • The business must be based in Africa
  • The business must be less than 3years old
  • The business must be for profit


How to apply for TEF2017

Applications are made online through the Tony Elumelu Foundations website application portal.Applications mist be submitted before 1st March 2017 for consideration.
