KCB Mpesa Loan Service Resumes

KCB Mpesa loan services which went off from Monday now resumes Wednesday after KCB corrected the identified technical glitches on the mobile platform.



The story reported by many media companies and the bank failed to comment on time, sent cold chills to over 7 million KCB Mpesa users in Kenya who borrow an average of kes1800 per month.

Communicating the resumption of the lending services on KCB Mpesa mobile platform, the bank's boss Joshua Oigara apologized to customers on any inconveniences caused during the maintenance period.Oigara also added that the resumption came with a lot of new benefits to the customers on board.

We took the initiative to disengage the KCB MPESA system in order to undertake a quality assurance exercise as well as optimal development of the system to better serve our 7 million customers. This will enable them enjoy a seamless interactive experience while transacting on KCB MPESA. We apologize to our customers for the inconveniences that this caused
KCB Mpesa loans will now be charged at a low interest rate of 1.16% per month.
