CBK had previous licensed twelve MFBs.Maisha MFB becomes the thirteenth microfinance bank to be approved.Others include; Faulu MFB,Uwezo MFB,SMEP MFB,Caritas MFB,Century MFB,U&I MFB,Choice MFB,Daraja MFB,Sumac MFB,Remu MFB,Rafiki MMF and Kenya Women MFB.
Maisha MFB will privide Micro Small and Medium Enterprises(MSMEs) financial solutions and also the new Insurance Premium Financing (IPF) product which joins insurance and lending businesses.
Maisha MFB with the tagline 'A totally New Banking Experience' has its headquarters located in Nairobi at the Chester House along Koinange Street.
