Ecobank Set To Launch #EcobankMobile App This Week In Kenya

The Ecobank Group CEO Ade Ayeyemi will on Thursday officially launch the long awaited #EcobankMobile App for use by Kenyans,an occasion which already took place in Togo,Ivory Coast and Nigeria last and this year.

After the mobile app launch ,the pan-african lender will now join other banks in Kenya which already have up and running mobile apps like KCB,Equity Bank,Stanchart Bank,Stanbic Bank,I&M Bank,DTB,Bank of Africa,Cooperative Bank and National Bank just to  name afew.

Ecobank recently went into a partnership with Microsoft to aid in making the digital move a success and therefore with this,the Ecobank mobile app is expected to be the best banking app in user experience in Kenya.

The banking app will be like a bank on a customers palm,providing almost all services accessible over the traditional banking hall counters.

Money transfers- custmers will be able to transfer money in any major currency to another account with ecobank or to another bank within kenya or outside the country.

Payments- app users wil be able to make payments for purchases from various retailers and also pay for bills from various service companies.

Buy Airtime- ecobank mobile app will enable a user to buy airtime from any telco for their phone numbers or friends and relatives numbers.
